Cool, the loc-line plumbing made it a lot easier for me. I used it fro my return to the DT as well! :)

Thanks for the link & picture. I would need a reducer for the PVC when it goes to the Loc-Line.

Right on Seano! Looks like that's your best bet. Save on the shipping $$ HAHA. I had to use a reducer as well. I went from 3/4" to 1/2" for my drain to the fuge and on the skimmer side it is 1".

I wil be going from 1" to 3/4" on the overflow line. I think I will go with 3/4" loc line on the return but I don't see what size the return line is on the eheim 1250??? FSA doesn't seem to say what it is?

From what I see, the suction side is 3/4" and the flow side (output) is 1/2"

Nevermind. I think I will go with a mag MD7. Much better GPH rating. $10 less.

    Eheim...$89, 150GPH at 3' head.

    MD7...$79, 450GPH at 3' head.

...operating cost is supposedly $10 more though. lol. Does it get hotter? Oh. Just higher wattage.

How about a Mag 3? I have one on my 38g setup with a 10g fuge/sump and it gives me 250gph (as measured by a Tom's flow meter) at over 3 feet of head. Plenty if you are using it on your 29g setup. The Mag 3 uses only 35 watts.
