    I ws thinking about going with a maxi jet 1800. I think its @ like 415gph at 0 head...

    MJ are good as well. I only have 1200 or smaller for personal experience.

    That seems like a bit of overkill for a 29g. I saw that Quiet One pumps also have great pressure...like 1800GPH at 12' head, or 500GPH at 33' head. lmao.

    Lmao, its not 1800gph, its just the number they identify it by. Its like 415gph with no head. After a few 45 degree turns and like 3ft of head I'm sure it'll be fine...

    haha. No I meant there is a Quiet One(brand name) pump that has 1800GPH.

    I also just realized the MD7 has higher GPH than the Maxi Jwet 1800.

    So true. I originally had a Quiet One 1200, and once I switched to the Mag 3, I decided I will never go back. The Mag 3 is rated at 350gph and the QO 1200 is rated at 296gph. Doesn't seem like much of a difference, but those zero head ratings are near useless as the Mag seems to flow about 50% more water than the QO in my set up. Go with a Mag and you will never regret it.
