100 gal tank set up

    i just got a 100gal tank from a friend for free and i wanted to set up a saltwater tank but im new to saltwater. I just wanted to should I start with a 30gal biocube first or set up the 100 gal. if i set up the 100gal can i get some good suggestions on what i should get

    What type of lighting does the tank have and filtration?

    In my experience a bigger system is more stable than a nano, I currently have a nano. A big system is much more expensive though.

    It's a very addictive hobby and can be pretty expensive. Patience and research will save you money and contribute to a much more rewarding experience for both you and the livestock you choose to keep.

    I only have the tank everything else is for freshwater

    ok im starting my build soon just waiting on a few more things i got a 90 gal acylic tank i got a refugeum im waiting on the protien skimmer and led lights. i have already built my mixing station (pictures to follow ) but now i have a question i am ordering 80 lbs or dry live rock from bulk reef and 40 lbs of live rock from my local guy can i put all the rock in together and starr cyclong my tank? or do i need to cure the dry rock first

    No need to cure the dry rock, just put it in right with the live rock. Just make sure you rinse off the dry rock first.
