    Hey guys I'm setting up a 100 gallon rimless with a 40 gal sump next month and want to know what you think of what ill be running it with!

    Let me know if you'd make any adjustments

    100g starphire rimless tank
    40 gallon sump (skimmer, return, refugium)

    Lighting: 2x Ecotech Radions(if not 2x reefbreeders photon 16)

    Skimmer: Reef Octopus NWB-200

    Movement: 2x MP40w

    Reactors: BRS Dual reactor running GFO/Carbon

    Return: Ehiem 1262

    Controller: Neptune apex

    ATO: Tunze 3155

    What do you think?

    Sounds like a very nice build to me (albeit an expensive one!).

    Haha yeah it's a little hard on the pocket book, luckily I've been able to find most items used and in perfect condition

    although I'm a bit mechanically challenged, I think the plan sounds perfect! Can't wait to see this up and running. A rimless starfire tank sounds totally awesome in and of itself :)

    Haha I know it's been a slow process gathering all the needed items, the last things I have to buy are the radions...

    Might be a noob question, but what are the benefits of using a rimless tank?

    I changed my mind im going with a reefbreeders photon 48, I have two local guys with radions....I like the look of photons so much more. weird...but hey its what i like
