I'm sorry I hate to admit this but I only know a few species by their scientific names. Are you able to give the common names for your list? I might have a comment then :)

In all honesty nothing is 100% reef safe. Some fish get very close like fairy/flasher wrasse or most cardinal fish. Also even though certain fish like clowns or some blennies have been caught nipping on corals doesn't mean yours is. EVERY FISH IS DIFFERENT!!!

    Percula & Ocellaris Clownfish

    Barnacle Blennies

    Most Basslets and Dottybacks

    Anthias

    Most Cardinals

    Dartfish

Many types of Gobies (ask if you want spec.)

    Any true Tang I know

    Possum wrasse

If you want a list of fish I would trust about 99.9% here they are.

Hippo tangs, not safe a friend of mine had one that went through probably 5k in purple hornets back when they were $$$, and my yellow tang had a taste for kenya tree (which never bothered me lol).

No clown gobies (I know you didn't say all but just wanted to point out they can be bad for a sps tank that isn't mature especially)

But you nailed it on the head 100000% Every fish is different..... but I'd like to add that hungry fish are always more likely to atleast sample ;)

I couldn't agree more. While it's never a 100% guarantee, keeping your fish well-fed with a varied diet can help a lot. In my 39 years in the hobby, I've never had a fish pick on corals, and that includes 3 species of dwarf angels.

I've never heard this.....Every Hippo I've seen has been reef safe.

Agreed, every fish is different, but if a fish a hungry enough to sample on your coral when it normally won't, then it's probably lacking something in it's diet.

None of these fish read the "reef safe fish book" so they don't know they are supposed to be :)

I was reading a book on plants deer won't eat. I got 5 pages into it and realized that no deer had read that book. 9 out of 10 plants I've seen them level. Good luck on what fish you pick out.
