Right at the beginning of the video, I swear I see another fish, looks like a YT damsel?

Everyone keeps saying no on the urchin, not 1 or 2. It wouldn't Survive long term, and it isn't fair to the animal to purchase it just to get rid of some algae. As norfolkgarden suggested it'd be a lot easier if you just got some hermits and snails.

The hermits shouldnt bother the snails if you have a small handful of empty shells for the hermits to grow into.
We keep about 30+ empty shells scattered across the tank for this purpose. Make sure they are slightly different sizes and all of the empty shells should be a bit larger than what you have the hermits in now.

We have a very diverse snail and hermit polulation. I haven't noticed any problems with the hermits attacking the snails in the past year.
I assume it is because we have a lot of new homes ready and waiting for the hermits.

Rereading the thread, you mention you already have snails?
    What kind of snails? Nassarius?

    Thanks, Matt

I have both a tuxedo urchin and a long spine urchin and they both have ample food and have been in my tank for coming up 5 months. If your worried manually feed them a little bit of food every now and again.
