100w metal halide?

I've got a bunch of 100w halide ballasts kicking around and I was wondering if anyone has used this wattage. Bulbs are rare-ish, but Hamilton makes a 10k and 14k, My tank is 30"x18"x24" (56 gallon column) so I was thinking two bulbs. The ballasts are pulse start, so should have no issue with the DE bulbs (all modern 100w halides are pulse actually). Just wondering if anyone has experience with these.

usually i know my lights but 100 are you sure not 150

 

The most common DE bulbs are 70w (not so much anymore with T5s), 150w, 250w, and 400w, but a 100w does exist, it's just rare. I wouldn't bother if I wasn't broke with about 10 ballasts kicking around from a commercial rewire I took part in.
