Just a couple quick details before I run out the door. Started this out last night and am hoping to have it finished with water in by Thursday. Hitting HD tonight to get the stand trimmed out. I have baffles cut to partition off a space for a small fuge and heater chamber. Planning on stocking it with zoas and a couple hardy LPS/SPS. Fish will be minimal I was thinking possible a goby/pistol, a longnose hawk or a firefish/gramma.

    Lighting: 70w DIY Halide
Filtration: Small fuge, AC20 for carbon/etc
Flow: Probably a MJ for a return, maybe a Koralia Nano if that and the AC don't cut it.
Top Off: To be determined. I want to see how much it evaporates, but I have room for a 2.5g tank under the stand for a holding tank.

    Ignore the messy room :)

Right now I haven't installed them, but I have baffles cut that will be going in today/tomorrow. Will drop the display volume to a little over 8g but give my a fuge section and a chamber for the heater and return/circulation pump.

Stick with me, everything is still in the works and needs to be cleaned up. Pictures were a quick snap to get some more progress up. Still have pleeeeenty of work left on this. Just a note, everything is pretty damn level and even but the tank isn't lined up in any of the pictures.

    To Do:
Build cover for refugium section to hide equipment and house a 6500k spiral bulb.
    Finish trim on light mount.
Wire up and hide the light electrical.
    Figure out ATO system
    Paint stand.

I've been thinking about doing that. I'm curious to see how it goes.

Minimal progress, but I did get the light bracket trimmed and built a cover. It is open over the display with a panel to hide the fuge/equipment chamber. Same molding as the stand just 4" instead of 3". Picked up a dark ebony stain and varnish for the outside and some white enamel for the interior to finish it once everything is done :)

Thinking about shifting the light bracket over to dead center, but still undecided.
