Need some pics of metal halides. I have 2 ATI actinic t5s but not sure which way I should go with my halides.175w single end. What brand and a pic would be extremely helpful. Thanks!!

really what is important is knowing your ballast, and getting the types of bulbs your ballast is designed to fire.
    examples:
dual 400W ANSI M59 Magnetic Ballast
Reeflux 10K good for growth as well as bringing the reds out
    XM 20K

It's a good long lasting bulb on the M59 ballast, but seems dim, supplemental lighting not really needed
Reeflux 12K and XM 20K combo, this is when I just threw the light up, using my powermodule cable, that's why it's so off center

This combo actually makes it much brighter, it's actually white, with a very slight blue tint. The picture was the best I could do at capturing the color.
Of course you can add supplemental lighting when using whiter/yellower bulbs. This way you get the growth and color.

    250w 20k Radium on a Galaxy e-ballast in a Lumenmax 2 Mogul pendant.

In pics the Radiums always tend to look more blue but in-person I think they look like the perfect blend of white & blue:

If you supplement with the ATI Blue Plus then going with a 10K or 12K MH would be the way to go.
