110 gallon tank on carpet?

    5 Freshwater and 1 Satwater tank here all on carpeted floors..

    No issues to date. have had the occasional spill but nothing different then what a large glass of water/pop would be.

    Make sure you leave enough room around it for the Vac hose to get at dust bunnies that will happen regardless of the flooring.

    I think most just cut a piece of plywood to fit under the stand. I just put mine right on the carpet though. No problems so far.

    Both my tanks are on carpet, it's fine. They will leave a mark when moved, but that's alright. It is kind of annoying when water drips, food spills, etc. but it isn't that big of a deal. And as someone else said you can place something under the stand for easy clean up.
