Thinking of turning my 110gal tank into a predator tank. What could i be able to house in it? Also what equipment is needed to keep it up and running good without having major issues etc

Puffers and triggers with a good protein skimmer.

get a bad ass eel(aka not a snowflake or a zebra eel) something like a japanese dragon eel or tessleta eel (maybe to big but you know what i mean), or a lion fish, some triggers, or a puffer. I had all that i listed above before starting a reef and i say a big protien skimmer as well as filteration that is double in size then what you actually need. Those fish get super messy

    What are the dimensions of your tank? (L x W x H)

It's likely going to be too small for most triggers, esp. more than one, and is on the hairy edge for most Arothron sp. (dogface) puffers. Diodon (porcupine) puffers also get too large, so that leaves the tobies (Canthagaster sp.), which tend to nip long fins.

As for a "bad ass eel", that's fine as long as you want an eel in your tank and nothing else you really like...

Personally, I'd start with a couple of medium-bodied lionfish and go from there. Maybe add a Rhinopias or an Inimicus stingfish, and a scorp such as Scorpaena brasiliensis. These fish aren't "messy" in the true sense of the word, but they do present a heavy bioload to the tank.

What kinds of fish do you like? It's easier to go from there...
