    Picked up a nice piece of LR from my LFS to start seeding my tank. This thing is caked with purple and red coralline algae. Can't wait for the rest of my rock to look like this.

    Haven't updated in awhile. The tank is about 7 months old now. Attached are some pictures. In the near future i'm thinking about getting some new equipment.

    1. Another MP40
    2. Apex Controller
    3. New HID bulbs (recommendations??)

    I'm also thinking about slimming down my rock work. I liked it to start with but now I think I have too much in the tank. Thoughts?

    I recently switch from the Reef Breeders LED's to a 4 unit T5 fixture with 2 - 150W HIDs.

    I think it looks really nice as is but the important thing is what you like. If you think a little less rock would look better, go for it!

    Well I slimmed it down today. Mainly because I got a diamond goby and all my base rock was sitting on the sand not the bottom glass. Here are some pictures (the water is cloudy)

    What was your reason for switching from the reefbreeder leds?
