it was doing well until i went on a week vacation. had my neighbors kid watch the tank for me. i think he overfed the tank and never filled the ato container like i asked him. ato container only holds 4ish days of water and i was gone 8 days. came back to return pump almost dried out, display tank half full of water with some micro bubbles still making its way to the display, 3 dead fish, dead snails and corals struggling.

first thing i did was got my tank filled up and salinity in check, removed all the dead stuff and did a large water change the next day. after about 2 weeks of everything running fine and corals began to open again i added a clownfish to keep the firefish (only surviving fish) company.

ah man, that is too bad. I like to leave easy to read notes, the simpler the better.

I've read too many of these stories to lend my tank to just anyone. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lucky that Todd_Sails is only a few minutes away and is the nice guy he is to help me out when I am gone. :)
I left with 10 gallons of RO/DI water sitting in containers right next to my sump. I also had 30ish gallons in the basement and saltwater ready. I do worry...

I think I have a problem... I was on vacation and I still texted Todd about my tank and bought my 93 cube (technically in Arizona) hahaha!
