    Just got my first aquarium from the hubby for Christmas. It needs a lot of work and TLC before we can even begin. Excited for first build and first reef tank:cheesy:!

    found a center hole punched 120, rare. had to grab it, needs to be re-siliconed, new framing top/bottom, and made the overflow from 1/4" black acrylic left over from another build. replaced some wood on the stand and she painted it, the black paint should match the acrylic overflow. the wifes been wanting to get into the hobby for years, what a way to start, lol.

    new frame came in when i took off the old frame didnt like the way the silicone looked so the tank is completely apart and am stripping the old silicone which is a chore lots of razor blades and acetone almost done will post pics later

    The tells we weave lol. Tried to get my wife into the tanks. She always said "now honey you know I like dogs." I told her it's ok there is a dog face puffer fish we can get.

    My GF always says, "I don't understand why you spend so much just to keep fish in a glass box". Of course she prefers cats.

    steve: this is her tank, but im setting it up for her, shes new to the hobby. havent talked to you in a while how ya been?

    for the rest of ya: we already have a dog and we both hate cats.

    im still gonaa build my tank with a coast to coast external overflow thats 60wx36dx22h
