120 Reef Tank Set up

Good Evening Everyone,

Many of you have helped me out by answering questions so I thought I would post a couple pictures of my tank. The wall is still a work in progress and hope to finish that in the next week or so.. So the tank has been running for about 2 days.

Here are some stats-

120 All Glass In Wall Aquarium
Proclear 200 with Refigum
1200 Mag Drive pump
100lbs of cured rock
80 lbs of sand
PVC Plumbing
Bermuda BPS-C3 Skimmer

I guess now I sit and wait...... and wait..... and wait.....

 

Very nice I noticed it’s not drilled that’s the same way I set up mine I look forward to watching your tank grow.

 

Thanks! I was going to go with a Fluval FX5 at first which is why I did not have it drilled. Then after thinking about it, I decided to go the sump/Refigum route. So in hind sight I wish I had it drilled but the overflow seems to be working fine.

Very nice. I like all the pics.. I'm hoping I can keep tangs in this tank. I tried to keep small ones in my old tank and they always got ick.. :-( Are yours still doing well?

 

To spite a nitrate problem I’m having yes I keep up with their diet and lots of stress coat .

 

Also 4 fire shrimp and the first sign on ick i copper dip.
