So I have 2 generic 120w led fixtures over my tank. I bought them used from a guy who ran them for a year. Everything was fine when I got them.
About 2 weeks ago I noticed 2 leds not working on one fixture.
Then today I come home to find all the blues but 4 leds are not working.
Not even sure where to start trouble shooting. Leds gurus....help!

I can't help fix it, but I will add that I know of 3 local reefers whose units had the same issue. They didn't fix it.

Well thats not good news lol
Maybe someone will have an idea on what to do.
Just my luck that it happens the night before a long weekend up north too. Hope my corals dont mind just the whites on one side for a few days at least.
Maybe my tank wants a upgrade without me knowing lol

This is the 2nd post I've seen on this.
I have the basement brand TaoTronics over my 125 now.
    Over 18 months now.
    So far, so good.

They do have a 2 yr warranty- supposedly

I planned on putting the RB lights over my soon to be up 180. Not sure, but I think it's the same manufacturer.
I planned on the Economy model with dimming and the extra colors.
Three of them on the 180, currently running 2 of the TaoTronics over the 125.

yeah i mean i dont have the funds right now to upgrade so i want to try and figure out the issue with the ones i have now first. if i need to buy a new one i guess im stuck doing that, but the other led fixture already has a few leds burnt out also, so im hoping they both dont self destruct at the same time. sighhhh
