Ok update time. I currently have the tank filled and running. Im slowly moving my 75 over to this tank. Like stated before. I have 2 drilled overflow boxes. Drains are 1.5" and the return is .75 I updated my plumbing a little. In the first pics it shows the return line being .75, I cut that out and ran the standard 1.5" which is the size coming out of my sequence pump. I ran the 1.5 all the way up to the .75 bulkhead where I then put a .75 reducer on.

I also got my durso's installed and my lock line returns in place. I also got my Lights mounted. I am running 4 ICECAP 250watt DE halides under the hood. They sit about 12" above the waters surface.

Tank shots. Im having issues with microbubbles. Im running a ASM G3 skimmer.

    EDIT this is a 135 tank. 72x18x25

So here is my Durso and overflow box.....is this right? Seems like the water comes up really high in the overflow box and I have about a 3/8 hole drilled in the top of the durso

This bubble trap doesn't seem to really do that well. I would like to open the return pump and not restrict it but it makes the micro bubbles worse if I do....am I missing something here?

This is the far left. You can see where I put a T fitting in the drain about 75 goes to the skimmer area and the other 25 hits the fuge where it flows into the skimmer area

So I also take it an in sump skimmer changes the way it skims based on the lever of water it sits in. Let's say you get it running perfect at 9" how much evap does it usually take to make the skimmer not work well 1" 2" etc....?

Yeah it's nice to have it running.

Im just having a new learning experince now that this tank is using a sump.
My skimmer seems to always be working good then bad. Kinda pisses me off to say the least.

Is that a check valve off your discharge of your return pump? Tanks looks good by the way.
