oh ok thats alot less problematic ;D, you probably wont need the insulation then

edit: but i would put some plastic on your hind wall if you go open back, the paint behind my salt tanks literally flakes off if salt creep builds up on it.

its not going in her room nor a closet. my living room has a cut-out thats oddly enough 73.5" wide, and 22" deep made for a biiiiiig rear projection tv . . . or a standard 125 gallon fish tank. right behind the cut out is her room, hence my questions about noise. so basically the old owners of the house made the living room 12 sq ft larger and the bedroom behind it 12 sq ft smaller . . . does that make sence?

maybe if i can get her to switch rooms one of these days i'll have the uber pink and purple sump room!

just finished painting the back of the tank, after lunch i'm going to try and get most of the canopy done. i also removed the interior ply for more room under the stand.

its really foggy as there was a tiny bit of water left in it from my trial run. that + florida sun while wrapped in pallet wrap = mega condensation. can i buff out the scratches in the front after the tank is all setup? i'm having trouble getting my hands on a car buffer to do it now.

for the canopy i was thinking about doing something like this, but only along the front and split into 2 sections . . . also going to nix the feeding door.

tomorrow i'm hoing to get the front skinned, doors installed and hopefully the canopy finished so sunday i can paint and seal. i might hook up the RO DI unit tonight, but i forgot to get a Y connector for the washer hook up while i was at home depot . it came with a 35 gallon trash cah with a float valve installed . . . does that mean i can piggyback off the washer and it will stop after it gets full? is that bad to cut off the output of the filter like that??
