    Thank you...

    This morning it was dead.

Yesterday afternoon, we did put the LM Blenny in the refugium where there is the cheto and lots of brown algae. This morning, he is still moving around the rock crumble, but I don's see any of his lip prints on the glass...yet... we put a feed clip with the nori he is use to getting in there with him... so, we hope he will fatten back up...

Someone said that problems come in threes...

Wednesday afternoon the well pump for the house quit... that evening, through testing, I confirmed that the pump was indeed bad... So, why am I posting in this thread?

The 75 gallons of DI water stored for the DT pulled double duty and became our cooking/drinking/flushing water to get us through the maintenance... we were back up on a new pump last night (28 hours after discovering the pump failure).

So, while it is not be best water to drink and cook with, it will work as an emergency backup supply.

Wow, I started this thread back in 2008 and last posted about 4 years ago... for the last many years we have enjoyed this tank. ...during my recent vacation, a failure in my filtering solution has spurred us to move forward with an idea to upgrade to a 160g custom build, peninsula style, predator & soft corals system... On a good note, we saved all of the livestock and corals by directing the care taker in the setup of a temp heater and pump to get us back home...
