    Thanks for the kinds words, everyone. Someone asked about CUCs, what is the prevailing opinion on whether they should be added first or the fish?

    Hi Estee, not sure if you noted hydrojeff's question on the lights

    CUC before fish is the way I normally do it , at least part of the CUC, see how they react, behave etc

    Thanks Steve, looks like i'll be picking up some CUCs first then....some shrimps and snails first....as far as the lights, they are the Current USA HQI+T5 comobo...bought them for around $500.

    Stopped by the LFS and picked up 3 Chromis for now, as I want to gauge how livestock will do in my tank before investing in more.....

    Also grabbed a simple CUC of 10 Astrea snails and 10 dwarf blue hermit crabs.

    So far so good, besides the snails stumbling around on the sand floor and accidentally sucking up the crabs now and then...
