135 gallon opinions ???

Looking for some opinions. There is a guy selling below tank setup under a year old and I got him down to 1900.00. Think it is worth it.

135 gallon Tenecor custom deluxe acrylic tank

dimensions – 72x18x24
pre-drilled center overflow w/dual drains & returns
marine blue background front feeding hole

High gloss black acrylic stand 72x18x30 w/3 removable door openings canopy w/installed lighting

I concurr, not worth almost $2000. I dont see anything there that is top of the line or even near it. Luna

 

I don't think it is worth it either! I got my 75 with sump, skimmer, chiller, QT, RO/DI, and everything else I would have ever needed plus some for $350

 

I figured as much, tried to get him down to 1500.00 knowing I would have to upgrade some things.

What would you guys or girls say would be a good price?

I wouldn't pay more than $1000. Even though it is only a year old you don't know how it was treated or what was added to it or anything. Also like Luna said there is nothing high quality there! He may have paid up the wazoo for it but you shouldn't have to!

 

If the tank/sump was all glass and it also came with a refugium and some of the equipment was a good brand, I would say $1200-$1500....maybe. Dont waste your time on that set up, keep looking around and dont SETTLE for something that your gonna have to up-grade most of the equipment. Esp. the way the economy is, you can get a better deal somewhere else. This is just my opinion. Good luck! Luna

Don't know where you are located but I have someone here in Columbus, IN that has a 210g 3x400w MH's sump....etc. Really a complete running system for $1000

 

Lighting is very sub par first of all! Iwaki pump is good but you can do better...plus as mentioned, you do not know that condition it is in really(leaks etc.)!
I would look around...their are deals out there!
