135 tank journal

nothing has died since the 135 was set up, thank gosh! ! !

i am going to make a thread for sump ideas since i guess i am over thinking what i really need to do lol.

 

I'd just let that tank be for a few months .. , Thats what I find is to many over think it all. I see all the sump build with all the baffles and stuff I just smile LOL Then I see the sumps with a water line almost like it was a display tank I saw one the other day I could not imagine even being able to think like that It scared me LOL

 

oh ok, so i should be in no rush to get the sump up and going, you havent steered me wrong yet

 

I thought that you had plumbed in a sump under that tank when you set it up at first . Do you have a tank or some container under the main tank now with a pump and skimmer maybe in now under the main tank ? Or if not you are using some sort of power filters ? I thought you sent me a picture of the thing with a sump under it .

 

yeah there is s sump indernieth it isnt hooked up though, right now i have 2 maxi jet 1200'a and 2 other powerheads on the other side.

under the canopy i have a REALLY ghetto filteration system going on, i have 2 peices of wood going from divider to divider one with a filter rated for 125 and another with a hob skimmer it was used for my 55, but its better hten nothing for now.
