I can't see it being a problem, but you will still get a cycle of some description. Any new live rock will get some die off, so your levels will fluctuate, but in your situation I doubt it will be that much.

yeah well 60 or so pounds of it have been dried for a long time so thats all good i can just put that in.....but.....like 75-80 pounds are from another tank, and like 80 pounds or so are from my tank. so i will make sure everything stays in water, so i hope i will be ok, i will make sure thing are stable for at least a week.

when I set up my 75 gallon, I had 45 pounds of live rock cured in a rubbermaid container and had a 29 gallon with 18 pounds that had been running for 3 months. I put all new sand in the 75 along with probably 15 pounds from the 29 gallon and all new water and the 45 pounds of rock. I let that run for 3 weeks with two penguin 350 filters and my sump running with no protein skimmer, no lights. With one lonely green spotted puffer. It cycled rather quickly after two weeks ammonia and nitrite and nitrate were all at 0. I waited another week and took out about 30 gallons of water out of the 75 and put in the 18 pounds from the 29 and probably another 15 pounds of sand from the 29 and then the tank inhabitants of the 29, and then finally almost all of the water from the 29 and transferred it to the 75. No casualties and the 75 continued to test at 0 for everything, I also tested both of tanks parameters to see how far they are within each other, and tried to match each others parameters.
