In the process of getting my new oceanic 135 set up. It is a 7' long tank so not very much room front to back. Only experience I have had with salt water was a 29g clown tank I had 5 years or so ago. Had to break the tank down due to a move and never really got back around to setting another one up till now.

Anyway point of the thread... Stocking suggestions I have a starter list but not sure how heavy a load it will put on a tank this size.

    Bellus Angelfish (M&F?)
    Powder Blue Tang
Black & White Ocellaris Clownfish x2
    Agile Chromis x3
    Gold Line Goby
    Kaudern's Cardinal x2

Assuming everyone gets along would this work once I have it established?
Any changes suggestions or stocking order would be appreciated!

Going for a mixed reef tank eventually but that is a ways off. At the moment I am getting ready to order some rock and sand to get things started.

Im not an expert but I don't see why that list would be a problem. Of course this will depend on what kind of filtration system your planning on setting up. Also If you're going for a mixed reef you may want to pass on the Angelfish. They tend to peck at corals.

well at the moment I have a 30g sump with two socks and a bubble magus curve 7. Looking around for a canister filter from running carbon and phosphate absorbent when I need it but hasnt been bought yet.

How wide is the tank? Might be hard for a large tang to turn around.

only 18" which was one of the worries I had with the 7' long tank rather then a wide tank. But got it and another 135 used from a local store for $300 so beggars cant be choosers.
