14 Gallon Nano Tank in Classroom

So we acclimated out first residents yesterday, an orange spot gobi with a pistol shrimp, one of my local stores is helping with costs so we are being a little flexible with our fish choices! It was hard/fun to keep the girls patient during the process. This morning our fish came out to eat and there was much squealing! It promptly decided to go hide. We have to work a little bit on tank etiquette!

 

oh you know you are making the next generation aquarist.. potentially even Marine biologists!! Good for you.

Now why don't you tell them to give you a hundred dollars each so they know the pain side of the hobby ha ha

Awesome!One problem I see with your list though.Catalina gobies need cold water to survive/thrive so I would not add one.

 

We have done some more research and figured that out. They have a project coming up and the top 3 scores get to go on a field trip to the fish store with me and look at some possible replacements. Two of my local stores have been super supportive of this project.

So we had to make a fish chore wheel, because it wasn't fair that the same people got to test alkalinity more than once. Kinda love that this is a problem!
