14g-29g biocube upgrade!!!(Pictures)

So i decided to do a 10g water change on the 29g and i tested nitrates yesterday night and they were at about 25ppm-30ppm(thats where i kept it at in the 14g for a few weeks) I know its still farely high, i am mixing up another 5g to do later. But i moved about half of the coral over and all the rock and all the fish over yesterday night at about 12am..Then i woke up this morning and everything was alive and happy fish are not breathing heavily and are out and about, corals are happy and opened up. I am currently acclimating(dripping) the rest of the inverts and corals.

And another question about the 14g..Would it be better to do a frag tank with sand? or without? i will probably have a few small pieces of LR in there for some filtration but that about it(zoa frag tank). I will probably get a goby just for fun in there and a shrimp or something.

I will take a pic once i get everything else in the tank.

 

nice! cant wait to see pics. as for the frag tank, i'd add sand for the goby at least if you do keep one in there. It's not necessary but i assume it'd help out with the LR. Besides the tank might look a bit empty without sand lol

 

Congrats on a so far successful move. Don't forget the pics of the new tank. I haven't kept a frag tank so I am not sure what is best.

 

Yeah..I was just wondering, i dont have to get a goby but i always have like them.

Yeah, that FTS is pretty crappy, the lighting looks weird..The corals are the right color...Ill have to get another one 2marow.
