14th Day of Cycle....Dust Floating in Tank

Here are the specs:
75 gallon Tank
70lbs of dry rock, seeded with about 10lbs of live rock
SSB with live sand
Sump w/skimmer
Three cocktail shrimp in DT

My parameters as of today are 0 ammonia, .01 nitrite, and 2 nitrate. The ammonia and nitrite are the same as the last reading but the nitrate dropped from 25.
In addition to lots of copepods now in the tank, I've noticed lots of white dust particles floating in the tank. Could what I think is dust actually be all pods? If so, there are THOUSANDS of them. I've turned off the power heads to see if it will settle, but they're still floating around. Anyone have any thoughts?

 

It could be anything but my guess would be some sort of bacterial bloom in the tank.

 

Is that a good thing for a new tank? I still have the shrimp hanging in the tank. Should I remove it?

 

I would probably pull that out. I have always just left it in for 3 or 4 days and then get it out. Once you have ammonia, your cycle will start. The bacteria bloom is normal. You will have beautiful, pristine, crystal clear water one day and the next day it will be a bit cloudy. This is all normal. I would say you are probably coming to the end of your cycle.
