I have a 150 and the 220. I had a 180 the 180 was much nicer then the 150. the 150 looks cheesy sompared to all of them. its a 5 ft tank but just looks goofy. I tell my son weekly I want to sell it. its big and nice but doesent have the look of a 180. If money is not the isses go big or go home has always been my moto.

oh man, I love my 150. I think a 180 would be nicer given the extra foot but my 150 has allowed for a nice deep realistic looking aquascape. It also leaves a ton of room behind for my swimmers. I would take a 5 ft 150 over a 6 ft 125 anyday.

    I fully agree about taking a 5 foot 150 over a 6 foot 125.

    That is why I made my tank a 62" x 30 x 24 high. And I have more room thana 180 even, its 193g ;)

I could have gone with a 6 foot tank instead, but I wanted this one to be lit by only 2 halides, with the t5s.

I'd choose the 180. Personally, I have a 155 that I bought from a friend $$$cheap! In your case, you don't want to buy the 150, and after its all set up and running you don't want to sit back and say "for 200 bucks more I coulda had the bigger one".
If you got the room, cash, and floor support, 180 is my choice.
