Yes, the inside is going to get painted with a 2-part epoxy. The same stuff they use for swimming pool floors. And yes, she's built pretty much the whole thing.

I have the overflow boxes in place now and letting the silicone cure over night. I went and picked up the epoxy. There is not much blue left, might only do the sides blue and the back black. We'll see how much i can get outta the blue. Need to go buy a 3M 6000 respirator as it is -42 degrees Celsius (about -44 degrees Fahrenheit i believe) outside so the garage door cannot be open when i do this... this stuff is nasty on the lungs!

First coat of epoxy is on. I have more blue than i first thought. I didn't realize that the excess silicone around the edges would be such a problem, but i'm going to have to cut it out once the first coat dries so that i can get right in the corners as the epoxy is not sticking to the silicone that well. The entire inside of the tank will be blue except the bottom will be black. The top and overflows will also probably be black depending on how much blue I have after the second and third coats. I did the entire first coat with about one quarter of the epoxy i had in blue. The remaining coats are supposed to be a little thicker though. Tomorrow after writing a final i will sand the first coat smooth and apply the second coat in the afternoon.

Yeah, got another final on Friday morning. Last one. Neuropsychology. At any rate. Batteries on my camera are dead and can't seem to find the charger, but i'm workin on it! Spent this afternoon scraping the silicone from all the corners of the tank (It was used in all the joints and squeezed out) and the second coat of blue went on today. Second coat of black will go on tomorrow morning and third coat of blue tomorrow night. Rinse and repeat Friday. It's lookin good and the epoxy actually has a decent looking texture to it. At any rate, thanks for the compliments guys.
