Well, back from Calgary and back in action. Here's some pics with the freshwater test filling up right now. I didn't finish the construction around the tank as i wanted to run it to make sure it worked first ;D Once it's done running for a couple hours with freshwater i will siphon it and start up with the RO/DI machine and salt. Then put the sand and base rock in and get ready for the transfer on thursday.

Everything runs, no leaks and the RO/DI is workin it's butt off until probably tomorrow night :p I made some mods to the lid for the container of the sump to help keep the structural integrity of the rubbermaid container. Pics of the move will be up Thursday night. Until then,
    Cheers.

Made the tank transfer yesterday. Took me about 9 hours and I'm pretty sure I will lose my yellow tang :( The major problem I had was with sand settling. I used very little of my old sand - maybe a few cups - but the new sand made quite a mess so I had to wait for it to settle before adding the livestock. It's still not completely clear about 18 hours later. My yellow tang was breathing, but was laying on his side between short swims. He was doing this for maybe 2 hours last night and then I put the lights out and no sign of him or his corpse this morning. I'll post some pics after final aquascaping is done.

Yeah- it is but I am always nervous it is on the brink of crashing! I feel like if I had a bigger tank I wouldn't worry so much about every little thing, ya know?
