I found this 150w HQI hood for my JBJ 24g nano cube for only 150 bucks. Is this a good deal and will i have any problems with heat?

Lets see a CF cube costs about $300 and a HQI cube costs about $500, so this would mean the hood shoot retail for over $200. I would say that's a great deal depending on the usage on the bulb. You should be fine as far as heat goes as long as you don't keep it overly hot in your house.

I'd say kinda pricey for a used unit . . . unless comes with really nice mounting hardware and proof of young/new bulb.

Otherwise you likely have to replace the bulb which is about 50-70 bux so now you are at or near the price of a brand new unit with a brand new bulb.

For under $100 it might be worth it, again depending on condition and mounting hardware.
