I really like the C-Skim. The neck cleaning setting is amazing in itself. I'm really interested in hearing what you think of that thing!

Nice nice nice! We want fishies now thank you. :D

Couldn't get the skimmer going yet, I need to make a spacer to bring it up 3 inches, and needed a fitting converting the pump from 3/4 to 1/2. But, that is today's project.
Going to the LFS today and getting 2 clowns today! But as of last night, the system is working, and without a leak!
This is the first time I have ever attempted to do anything like this. I always used a canister with 2 emperor 400's. Thanks to everyone on 3reef for all the advice and help!

Make sure you have a drip loop on those cords, That is probably not the best place for the powerstrip, it will get wet for sure, just a matter of time, probably your first water change.

I thought of othat, but really didn't have anywhere safer to put them, but I do have acrylic left over and I'll make a cover to go over them to protect it.
I still have to route the wiring correctly. Woke up to my back being out, :(, bending is a bit hard ot do right now.

Well, Jwin, her you go! Went to the LFS, and got 3 clowns and a cleaner shrimp! They are so cool, and even though they are new, they all come to the top when I splash the water a little! Next I'm gonna be aiming for a goby. They are so cool!

(Need to get the skimmer running first though)

Made the skimmer stand, just waiting for the glue to dry. Its a piece of acrylic with 1 inch pvc cut to 3 inches, with holes cut in so there won't be any stale water in them legs.

I thought the same thing, and I didn't want to make a big$$$ mistake, so, since I was really going for more of 50/50 fish/corals, I decided on this one.
72 Inch 8x39 Watt AquaticLife T5 HO Light Fixture w/ 6 Lunar LEDs

I like that it has built in fans and a timer with LED moonlights. Didn't want to kill ht eelectric bill with the halides.
It was supposed to come Saturday, paid extra and it didn't come. Hopefully it will be here today. Pics come as soon as its here!
