155 New tank build!!!

Hey you finally got it! Wow that a loooooooong light.. lol.. Looks like it's well built..

 

Hey, you might end up removing those glass covers.. On my 29 it kept on fogging up due to salt build up & had to clean the glass every couple of months. It's a pain to clean too! In the Summer I noticed a huge temp difference in the water temp. You tend to loose more water, with the cover off, but tank has a clearer shine from the light & a lot cooler.. Just an idea..

 

I was thinking that too. Since it is winter right now, my evap had been crazy so far, I am adding a gallon to a gallon and a half a day, and that was without the light! Didn't have this much evap when it was setup as freshwater over the past few years.
I need to get an auto top-off, like really soon. I just figured for now i'd keep the lids on to prevent so much evap till I get it. I work 12 hours a day, sometimes 16. I'd hate to come home to find my system running way to low!
Any suggestions on a real good auto top off?

I have been feeding the flakes and coral brine shrimps, but she/he seems to like whatever is o the rock. it keeps pecking at it. I assume its getting something! I'll keep you posted!

I also got a Golden head sleeper Goby pair which burrowed under the rock, can't get a good pic right now, and a Filamented flasher wrasse which I saw for an overall of 5 minutes when I fed today. He hides, which sucks...

I was just wondering how you like the lighting system on your tank now that it has been running for about a month? I want to get the same one and want you opinion.

 

I love it! it has it all. Timer included. My corals are doing just fine, even with the tank being 26 inches deep. Fishies seem to love it too! Next best thing to MH. In my opinion. Will post some more pics tomorrow. have a few more additions!
