I have a 10g refugium with a dsb and a couple pieces of LR in it. I was using a shop light with a energy saving 23watt (100 watt equivalent) 6500k bulb in it to light the fuge and had plenty chaeto growth. Today I busted on of the bulb doing something and the whole fixture is bulky and a PITA due to space in my cabinet. My question is, can I use a standard aquarium lighting fixture for a 10g which has a 15watt tube, to light my fuge. The light is in daylight spectrum. Would this be sufficient?

    Depends on the K rating.

Assuming that if it says daylight and is for a 10g aquarium then it is 6700K and I would think it would be okay, but I would be more comfortable if someone else could confirm that.
