    is 1600 lumens on a 23w bulb ok for a refige light?

    bump because I am not 100% certain - 23 watts sounds to low to me, I know guys on this site using much larger CFLs on fuges

    Macros are often found in shallow water, the more light you can give them the better. I have heard somewhere around 5000-6000K is the best temperature to go with, but I have never had a sump so just take it with a grain of salt :)

    how do I find out how many K the light does?(if I asked that right) all I can find on the light is that it replaces a 100w bulb, and says it use 23w with an output of 1600 lumens...

    the fuge is only 10 x 11 x 12
