i'm working on building an acrylic sump and then the lights and i should be ready. i'm planning on the Lumenarc III and two Lumenarc III Mini's running 400 watt SPS 14,000K MH's. As soon as those two things are purchased and built I'll get some stuff in that bare thing!

    updates

i know this is long overdue but time and money restraints have put this project on hold BUT.... over the past month i've made a lot of progress and am just need to get some more live rock and i'm ready to get this thing going. here are some pictures:

stand in tank room. top tank is QT tank. Middle tank is going to be future frag tank.

water storage. the ro/di water is stored in left container. when i need more saltwater i open ball valve and it drains into container on right:
the top bulkhead on this photo will be used to pump new salt water back to tank. the ball valve on far right controls flow to the drain.

here is picture of pvc going to drain:

water test was conducted with no leaks so i'm ready to get this thing up and running FINALLY!!!

here are some pics of my aquascaping. the first one is the original pvc framework. the others are after rock was added. i still need to put add more rock to the pipe but it's nearly finished:

That is a great look idea for the live rock setup. How do you attach the rock to the PVC pipe? I am going to be aquascaping mine in the next month and would like to have this as an option.
