After deliberating on new livestock for my 180gakllon FOWLR tank (with just a few mushrooms and buttons), I decided on the following below. Let me know what you think as far as a colorful, somewhat hardy, yet aggressive tank. I decided on this since my favorite fish I'm building around is the Harlequin Tusk. He's quite a meanie, but oh so beautiful!

    - Harlequin Tusk (4.5")
    - Christmas Wrasse

    - Blue Tang (4.5")
    - Yellow Tang

    - Maroon clown (4.5")
    - Picasso trigger

    - Emporer Angel juvenile
    - Bicolor Angel

    - Vagabond butterflyfish
    - Arc Eye Hawkfish
    - Purple Dottyback

    - Black Dominoe (1.5")
    - 4 stripe damsel (1.5")

    - Coral Beauty (3.5") - removing
    - Swallowtail Angel (3.5) - removing
    - 6 line wrasse (3") removing
    - Blue Throat Trigger (4.5") - removin

What do y'all think? Any other suggestions?

snowflake eel or lion fish would be cool for an agro tank but i'm not sure if those fish would be compatible. (probably not haha) i just like those two for an agro tank

Craigar - I've had the australian version before, until it decided jump out of the tank. I have the info version now and while not as bright is still astonishing to look at still.

Triton - I don't know much about puffers unfortunately, other than hearing they're messy eaters. I guess I'm looking at more if a semi-aggressive tank that doesn't aren't predators of smaller fish.

how much surface area will you have on the tank because that seems like a ton of fish to me maybe to many?

Update: Added the following to my tank:

    - Yellow Tang
    - Picasso trigger (2")
    - Vagabond butterflyfish (3")
    - Arc Eye Hawkfish (2")

    and removed

    - Blue Throat Trigger (4.5")
    - Black Dominoe (1.5")
    - Swallowtail Angel (3.5)

    and still have:

    - Harlequin Tusk (4.5")
    - Blue Tang (4.5")
    - Maroon clown (4.5")
    - 4 stripe damsel (1.5")
    - Coral Beauty (3.5") - removing
    - 6 line wrasse (3") removing

It's a much, much more colorful and lively tank now! The colors speak for themselves, but by lively, i don't necessarily mean like aggro magnets everywhere. The Tusk chases the 6-line (as he always does) like a game, but once he corners him, does nothing! The 6-lin chases around the CB, while the CB chases the Yellow tang, and the tang sometimes the butterfly. The Picasso likes chasing the damsels to keep them in check, but gets hounded by the hawkfish. They don't actively seek to taunt each other, only when they pass by. It was much worse the first day, but calmed down quite a bit now. I don't see any fish have signs of fin nipping or stress, so everything seems okay for the time being. It was sad to let go my BT Trigger. I had him for quite a while, and he was the only one that wouldn't tolerate the Tusk's bullying. BTW - getting that damsel out was a PITA. Thank goodness for people who had the creativity to make a fish trap out of water bottles. it worked beautifully!
