Here are some pix of my tank about a year into it after moving from a 90 to a 180 with dual overflows It uses a Eshopps R300 sump as a refuge. Lighting is done by AI Sols. There is a Vertex skimmer in the sump, and not much else. An EcoTech Vortech keeps the water moving. My Pagoa that was closed for 2 years extended it's polyps 1 weeks after install. Getting great results by staying low tech and testing and dosing regularly. I switched from IO salt to Tropic Marin pro reef, The increased price was worth the results in increased polyp size and growth.

I lost my prized Sohal and some other livestock in what I could best diagnose as marine velvet. The Vlamingi and Yellow tang survived a 2 month stay in a hospital tank where they were nursed back to health. The hammer corals are groing out of control. I frag a 10-15 head colony onto the bottom every few weeks. Eventualy will trade them at a future local frag swap.

    Comments and suggestions always welcomed.

awesome tank, and cool corals. Sorry about the Marine Velvet outbreak, those things can be just horrible.

    180 build 1year later

Thanks all. Not a lot of build pix. I frame the stand from 2x4 and had a cabinet maker friend do a wrap. He did a great job. The tanks in the living room where it can be seen from either of the 2 couches.

    180 build

Found 1 other pix of the build. Looking back the tank looked empty compared to now. Coral growth really makes a difference.

Very nice, I like how the seeminglyh small sump/fuge is working well for you.

I'll be going from my current 125 to my 180 in the next few months. Cutting the wood for the stand on my neighbors table saw tomorrow!
