I think I can relate to how your son feels

I cant work out whats going on under that cabinet either?

and it does need closer investigation without doubt

what are you talking about. Roger speaks like a true gentleman hahah!!

BTW that last shot with the baby is a good shot. It is tough getting the white balance of the room and inside the tank to "balance". thats why any full tank pics i take i always have the room around the tank underexposed so i dont have to try and balance two seperate light sources. Try lowering the ISO and use a shorter exposure time that may help get the tank to not have that over exposed white hue that you are getting from the metal halides and VHOs. either way it is still a very tough shot to pull off so Kudos to you!

You're too kind but if the pictures come out any good, it's just luck. Roger took the last two pictures of the corals that I posted so maybe he's been practising behind my back

 You're such a boy

That last picture was shot using the "pre-sets" on the camera. I'll have to have you remind me how to use the manual settings the next time you come over.....or just have you take pictures for me

Some new pics that I took yesterday. Can't figure out why my colors are off seeing as I adjusted the white balance like I used to (by putting a white piece of plastic in the tank, taking a picture of it and using that picture to set a custom WB). Maybe my ISO is too high/low or my apeture too big/small? Hopefully That Guy or somebody else with photo knowledge can chime in here. The blue tort and other corals look really faded and the pictures look a bit too yellow so maybe it is my ISO setting?

(and yes Otty, the floor is still crooked which is why my full tank shots always come out like that :) )

Nice pics Annik, I like the one with a future coral grower looking at your tank. It would have been funny if you placed a "saying box" saying WT......

Thanks Luna. I'm lucky I can operate the camera these days. I don't dare attempt to try my hand at editing/enhancing photos.
