it's been a while, but that bottle looks familiar...?

question, is the weight of the glass sufficient to seal up the silicone or did you put any other pressure on it? also, once the silicone cures, do you just run a blade around for clean of of overflow, or did your tape dam stop anything from squooshing out the front?

Yeah, the weight of the glass is enough to get it to hold. We did put some more pressure on it, and it stopped with the bumpers I had glued around the perimeter of the glass spread out around the glass.

The tape only keeps the silicone goobers from touching and sticking forever to the epoxy painted areas. There is a little goob on the glass, inside and out, but whatever we were not able to smooth out satisfactorily can simply be razored off.

I might be able to do that.

My camera has no sound on video though. It's one of those waterproof ones, so a microphone is not part of it.

I am moving the sump out from under the stand. it is too cramped in there as it is, so I made a 2x4 "stand" that will raise it off the floor the height of a 2x4. it will be on the left of the tank, about where the skimmer and ca RX were going to go. This makes it easier to work on stuff.

I painted the sump stand, and it will be black, like everything else.

My Electrical Engineer friend will be coming over to help me re wire and wire the electrical for my setup on Sunday.
