You know, the dottyback is behaving well. It has left my cleaner shrimp alone and everything.

Now the maroon clown, well, unfortunately Joe, she offed that new ocellaris I just bought.

I will be catching that maroon and putting her in the sump. Should be easy as she is hand fed.

Updates, well, I got a couple new corals, and I need to take some close ups. I wish my camera was nice like that SLR you use Jerry;)

I still need to do a little re aquascaping, but I did get my GEO calcium reactor hooked up again last night. :)

Yep, she is an angel to "hands" as long as they are not too close to her anemones.

I have actually caught her in my hands a couple times. She will swim right to you.

How do you like the Geo reactor? I think I'm going to pick one up later this week.

    LOVE IT!!

I don't recommend any other brand for any amount of money. They work very well, are built extremely well, look great, most come with ehiem pumps, they have great customer service, and they use very little C02 (aka don't waste any). Basically this reactor is good enough for even really picky people like myself, and you apparently as well;)

Just make sure to get the reef fanatic regulator, the Milwaukee regulator is garbage for only a few dollars less than the reef fanatic one. Also, I would not recommend any CA RX to be used without a ph controller. I use the milwaukee ph controller, it works well.

Caribsea ARM is a great media to use in the GEO, as it works well, lasts a good amount of time, and adds strontium and other goodies at the same time as alk and calcium.

I had the 618 on my 90g ref for a good 5-6 months and it barely used any ARM media and CO2, but then again that reactor is for a 300g tank. Typically if you under size the reactor for the gallonage of tank you have, you simply have to refill the chamber more often than once every 6 months. Once I have this going for a few months I will see where my 250g of water takes the media level to. I maybe went through 1 " of media on my 90g for those few months.

K+ for the great info. Have you actually used the Milwaukee regulator? My LFS told me that they do fine and that there's no need to pay any extra. At the other end of the spectrum I was considering AquariumPlants.com's Electronic Co2 Regulator
the electronic regulator from aquarium plants.

I bought my geo used, and the Milwaukee regulator that was on it failed after less than 1 year of use. The guy I got it from had just put a new reef fanatic reg on it.

That regulator you posted seems to be good, but I would not pay more than what the the reef fanatic costs for that unit.

I have not heard 1 bad thing about the reef fanatic reg. In fact i have only heard extremely good stuff about it, and this has been from guys running CA RX's for years.
