i just found this old picture of my dad in '77. there was a 10" blue angel in the tank you can barely see. the tank had a "high tech" hang on the back filter... lol saltwater is in my blood. this was our store "Circle Pet #2" that was in lakewood california. we sold "Circle Pet #1" last year. i miss my store. well i just wanted to share a retro-reefing picture... enjoy... lol gotta love my dads 'stache

this was 5 years before i was born. haha when i was little i used to go to AllSeas Marine and i can remember to this day (not realizing what i was doing) i would take ornamental nudibranchs and put them in the drain tubes to get sucked up. i would always leave with shells and dead coral skeletons... good times as a little boy going to wholesalers and playin with fish and corals

So you remember the magic that undergravel filters brought to the hobby?

lol. I can remember how aweomse it was when my dad tore our tank apart to install one in our 55g housing 2 lions & a snowflake eel. lol.

I also remember cleaning the tank with a diatom filter.

lol, I remember when I was like 5 or 6, we had a saltwater tank. (over 30 years ago) we had a seahorses, lionfish and some clowns I guess. All this with an undergravel filter!
