I bought a metallic blue purple green mushroom and 2 colonies of pulsing xenia (my first corals ever!) on a piece of LR from my LFS DT, got it for 25 bucks. I acclimated them for about an hour using the cup method, and after trying 3 spots, i found the one it likes. The Xenia started pulsing within 15 minutes; I was shocked!;D

But on this live rock came some aiptasia and what i believe to be one or more spaghetti worms. Just wanting some verification!

In the pic you can see two little orangish yellow bundles of tentacles.
And of course some shots so you can see the new treasures.

Yup they look like spaghetti worms and are harmless. The apitisia on the other hand not so good. But the rest looks great.

I think I got those worms too, mine are white very thin tenticles. as for the aiptasia, you can make some kalkwasser powder with a little drops of water into a paste and inject them with that. becareful not to get it on anything else.

I don't see any aiptasia in the pics. I guess you didn't need an ID on it.

Congrats on the corals!! They're supposed to be easy to keep, so I don't see any problems with that, unless your alk goes sky high like mine and bleaches almost everything in the tank.

Very good pics, by the way. What cammera do you use?
