    SW Addiction here I come!!!


    Off to the lfs after work for LS/LR and water. (and a test kit and a power head)

    It's cycle time.... wish me luck! Lots of pics (and questions) to follow....


    Any advice for my first endeavor? Other than go slow (VERY SLOW) and to keep an eye on it?

    Lights? Temp? Etc.?

    you dont need to get lights going until the cycle is about finnished.

    How big is your tank?

    Its about 37 gallons, just gonna be sand and rocks, very few fish and maybe a few cleaners

    Welcome aboard mate, to biggy back on what waste has said already, do alot of research and ask alot of Q's. Plan ahead as to what you want to keep in the tank and how to take care of it. Remember, the only stupid Q that you can ask, is the one that you dont ask. Good luck my follow Floridian and post some pics;D Luna

    I sure appreciate it. I've been reading everything I can on this site (and others) although with the knowledge, responses and attitudes here I already don't go anywhere else. 3Reef is great!

    Ok, LS/LR in, water mixed and added. There is a little foam buildup on the top of the water... nothing to worry about?
