Be sure to keep us updated and pics, too!! Have you gotten any more rock yet? Throw in some cheap base rock, save some $$!!!!

Start saving for your light update now, might help with sticker shock;)

illushinz I've been to Sevenseas...a little expensive for me, but a pretty good over all store.. I used to go to one in Kissimmee called Auqaholics...good store if you know what you want/need, but watch out Linda and Moe can spot a newbie a mile away........ Pretty good prices too. If you ever get there tell em Linda & Chuck(Kissimmee, Harley dude and dudette) say Hey!!

    Will do!

and I read you loud and clear on the sticker shock for lights... ouch! I think I'll upgrade in this order (unless I'm swayed by you guys).

    1) More Rock
    2) Inverts (Cleaners)
    3) Canister Filter
    4) Fish
    5) Lights
    6) Corals of some kind
    7) Fuge/Sump/Skimmer

Oh yeah, and I'd kinda like to stay married through all that too! HA!

you might consider flipping 6 and 7. At the very least, get the skimmer before corals.

hehehe... I remember using an emperor 400 on my uncle's freshwater! So far everything seems fine; just keep adding rock. Another thing - try to get a skimmer before the lights. my 55 gallon crashed once without a skimmer and it was exceedingly difficult to recover. I foresee your tank's success in the future!
