2-150 Halides?

    Hmm. Halides on the cheap might not be the best route to take. To join in on your metaphor--if you can't step up to the pump at that price, might be best to walk for a few months and leave the car in the garage until you've accumulated enough cash to do it right.

    In this hobby, you get what you pay for.

    Here is the pendant i use the 2x150 model with moonlights, it does not house t5 for actinic supplementation but you could add these seperatley, or you could just use 20k or higher bulbs, personally i just use the 2 halide bulbs at 14k plus the moonlights, i like the colour it gives off very natural,theyn work out to around $350 i am very well pleased with them they are 3 and half foot long but would be good for a four footer also...

    I am looking into the 2-150s stingray without the actinics. The actinics at times look cool but there is something to fake about it. I can get the 2-150 MH and 12 moonlight (6 white 6 blue) for under 200.00 so that is more than likely where I will wind up...good to see someone else using what Ive been eyeing..thnx
