2 Halides over 6 foot tank (or does it have to be 3?)

    4 250w mhs is enough to bleach all but the most light hungry corals on a 4' tank unless it is really deep.....I think 2 should be fine if you place any sps dead under MHs and talk to rapidLED for a diy kit or a plug and play kit if you email them they'll explain exactly what you would need for an sps dominant tank...probably 72-96 LEDs would be enough to cover your whole tank....i would say get a 48 LED kit and a 24 LED kit (or see if they'll set up a specifically design kit with x many LEDs) with three 5.9"x16" heat sinks and i would think that would have enough coverage....that would cost probably around the same range of buying 3 good MH fixtures, email them they're very helpful!
