I suspect that is what my snowflake is living off of...

Have never observed eating any other food I have put in tank. (any suggestions?)

Looks fat and healthy when I do see him...:-/

oh come on if you think about it, all the death star did was create a bunch of live rock that they could have scooped up to colonize an ocean.....

I would try to do some pod mounds, the eel my destroy the mounds though. They're used for mandarins and other finicky eaters. Take a bunch of rubble and a piece of raw shrimp, make a layer of rubble in a 3" or so circle, add the piece of shrimp, cover well with more rubble. It creates a safe place for pods to feed and breed but I would think a eel would go for the shrimp and destroy the mound. Wrasses also love pods.

just a small piece of shrimp, like 1/8"-1/4", any effect would be minimal because it will be consumed fairly quickly. I put a piece in there about once every 3 weeks, and its always gone before time for more. After 6 months, you should notice a lot of pods around it. If you do, build more pod mounds. The more mounds you have, the more pods you will have. Dont do more then 1 to begin with just so you can get the idea and time frame it takes for them to consume the piece of shrimp. If you do too much too soon, it will effect your parameters.

No "rubble pile" would stay that way long with my Coris wrasse. Any loose rock is constantly moved about tank.

Will try putting in crevice that fish/crabs can't generallly get into.

    Thx
