Alright, so I was looking around in my tank and found this thing, it looked like little algaes, but turns out they are some kind of tentacles, they started retracting (rolling up actually) when I left the light on them for a few seconds, and when I took the light away they'd come back out.

And I never really knew what this was (hitch hiker on LR I got a long time ago):

I have no idea... I'm anxious to see what others think.
The last pic. Does it move around the tank?

The first one is probably the feeding appendages of a sea cucumber species and the coral is most likely a Favites spp.

as said above the first two look like the appendages of a sea cucumber. The third pic looks like a dead galaxy. Not sure tho

I would have thought the same except it was described as being able to curl back, not something a foraminiferan can do.

cool thanks guys, yeah the coral definitely isn't dead, it was late at night after the lights were off so it looks a little less "excited" than normal. As for the other one, wouldn't a sea cucumber (we call them rori in Tahiti) move around in the tank ? and it would be on the sand more right ? this is on the LR towards the top of the tank, and it's at the same spot still.
thanks again for the help !
