    The best schedule for a refugium is the reverse lighting period of your main lights. I really dont recommend a 24/7 period, not a good idea. as for the cleaning BB, PumaKrieg siad it best. Luna

    Ok Luna lets say all the bio balls are out im going to fill a bucket with salt water and put them all in there how long before I return them to the tank

    The lighting period will depend on the macro in your fuge/sump. 24/7 will help prevent caulerpa species from "going sexual". My chaeto gets 12 on and 12 off. On when the display lights are off.
